Friday Oct. 22 was a funfilled day in our support of our neighbor Pebblebrook High School. At 4:00 pm we were feeding the football team in preperation for their homecoming game against Hillgrove High and at the same time preparing for a great Tailgate party in front of the church. Bob Lamb and his kitchen crew had created a big batch of his famous Johnny Mazetti, along with plenty of fruit and bread and Barry Smith and his teenage musicians were setting up to entertain a large turnout of students who gathered on the front lawn. Thanks to all who contributed to the success of this outreach program. Hoping not to leave anyone out I remember Tina, Andy, T.J., Lance, Jeff, Ruthann, Bob, Barry and Jim were there in support. Also thanks to Gail Naylor for arranging for the truck from Sweetwater Lumber to use as a platform for the musicians.
