About us
WHAT WE BELIEVE
Our church believes that God is the creator of everything in the universe and revealed Himself and His plan to humans in two main ways:
-
-
Through His Son, Jesus Christ, who is the Son of God and God the Son
-
Through the Bible, which is inspired by God and completely authoritative
-
We acknowledge that we were created for God’s glory and aren’t truly fulfilled until we are serving Him with our life. We base our beliefs and our church practices only on the Bible. We know that the one God of the universe exists in 3 persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – as defined in the Bible. We believe that God the Son, Jesus, became a man, was killed on a cross to pay for our sins and rose from the grave to defeat death for us. We understand that we cannot pay for our own sins and are therefore completely dependent on the death of Jesus to fix our relationship with God and that this is only offered to us through God’s grace and mercy. We believe that Jesus, as He promised in the Bible, will return to earth one day and claim all of those for eternal life who have faith in Him as their Savior.
As dictated in the Bible, we recognize that the gift of eternal life in Christ must be accepted by each of us individually through acknowledging Jesus as the Christ and Son of God, placing Him at the head of our life (confessing Him as Lord), repenting of our sins (admitting they are wrong and desiring to turn away from them) and being baptized by immersion under the water.
You will find that biblical love for God and man is at the heart of all that we do. We love answering questions, exploring the scriptures, and even wrestling with doubts. So all those wanting to explore the Bible and the Christian faith are invited to join us on Sundays and Wednesdays and dive into scripture to discover new heights and depths together as one.
